West End and Broadway stars Daniel Boys, Chloe Hart, Patina Miller, & Matt Shingledecker are part of the incredible line up to showcase the work of musical theatre writers Michael Kooman and Christopher Dimond for one night only at the Ambassadors Theatre on August 12th 2010.

 HOMEMADE FUSION is a celebration of NYC composers Michael Kooman (music) and Christopher Dimond (book & lyrics) in a wonderful late night West End concert, performed for the first time in the UK, time by a selection of the West End’s and Broadways hottest young musical theatre stars.

 

In 2010 Kooman and Dimond were awarded the Jonathan Larson Award, are 2009-2010 Dramatists Guild Fellows, and were finalists for the 2009 Fred Ebb Award. Their musicals and concerts have been performed at the Kennedy Center's New Visions/New Voices Festival, American Conservatory Theatre, the ASCAP/Disney Musical Theatre Workshop, CAP-21, and they have been awarded the KC/ACTF Musical Theatre Award for their show DANI GIRL, they have also been asked to perform a concert of their music at the Kennedy Center as part of the “Broadway: Today and Tomorrow” celebration. The incredible line up for this special evening includes: Lucy May Barker, who made her West End debut as Ilse in the Original UK Cast of Spring Awakening, and has since appeared at the National Theatre and Regents Park. West End favourite Daniel Boys, star of Avenue Q, BBC’s Any Dream Will Do, and Wolfboy at the Trafalgar Studios. Chloe Hart, who amazed audiences as the final Tracy Turnblad in Hairspray at the Shaftesbury Theatre and is now appearing in Les Mis at the Queens Theatre. Olivier nominated and Whartsonstage.com award winner, Patina Miller who is currently wowing audiences in Sister Act at the Palladium. Hannah Shankman and Andrew Kober both join us from the London and Broadway production of HAIR, currently at the Geilgud Theatre. Jeremy Legat recently completed a year long run as Boq in Wicked at the Apollo Victoria, and Matt Shingledecker is also a Spring Awakening alumni, playing the role of Georg on Broadway.
